Age of Empires Mobile Commercial Film Production; The year 1997 marked a turning point in the world of strategy games; the first Age Of Empires game became a legendary title that captivated the dreams of many players. At the beginning of this great series, we built kingdoms and achieved victories. As the years went by, we had the opportunity to play many iconic games in this series, experiencing new excitement with each one. Now, we are here with our Age Of Empires Mobile commercial film project to celebrate this magnificent past and to create a new beginning.

Journey to the Past and Strategy Development

As Gaming in TURKEY | MENA | EU Game and Esports Agency, we decided to thoroughly examine the development of the Age Of Empires series and synthesize the past with the present. The unique positioning of each game inspired us. In this context, we focused on the historical hero, Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. The game offers an innovative experience for the new generation of players while promising a nostalgic journey for experienced players. Therefore, we engaged in an in-depth research process to develop a campaign that appeals to a wide age range.

Age of Empires Mobile Commercial Film Script and Concept Development

In the script phase of our commercial film, we created a powerful story centered around Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. Our narrative takes place in an alternative reality where young and mature Suleiman encounter each other due to a time and spatial shift. Young Suleiman is fighting for the rise of the empire, while mature Suleiman appears as a leader filled with experience and wisdom. The deep dialogues between the two characters explore the wisdom of the past and the potential of the future, allowing players to form both emotional and strategic connections.

For example, young Suleiman asks the mature version, “What will power and conquest bring me?” and the mature Suleiman responds, “Small victories do not create a great empire. Listen to the voice of your heart and change the course of history.” These types of dialogues convey not only the depth of the game world but also the essence of Turkish history.

Visual and Auditory Presentation

In our film, we aimed to create a visual feast by using symbols from the Ottoman period. The flag design we created by combining red and green symbolizes the growth and expansion period of young Suleiman, inviting the audience on a strategic journey in an alternative reality. The visual atmosphere of the film offers viewers more than just a game introduction, taking them on a strategy-filled adventure.

Age of Empires Mobile Commercial Film Influencer Selection

As the lead actors of our campaign, we worked with famous influencers Barış G and Kayzer. Their large follower bases provided us with a significant advantage in reaching our target audience. Kayzer, with his energetic and dynamic style, appeals to younger audiences while also embodying the determination and leadership qualities of Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. Barış G, on the other hand, represents the mature Suleiman with a more mature and experienced approach. Their physical similarities align with the characters, further strengthening our project. The experiences of Barış G and Kayzer in past projects and their engagement with their audience played a decisive role in our actor selection.

The Age Of Empires Mobile commercial film was created as a project aimed at reviving the strength and determination of the past in today’s world. By highlighting Turkey’s rich cultural heritage and history, we aimed to return to the roots of Age of Empires with this film, appealing to the younger generation of players and strategy enthusiasts.
