Rakion 360 Degree Marketing Project; Rakion, which was published between 2006-2019 in our country and was very popular, returned to Türkiye after a long break. We joined forces to accompany Rakion in the adventure that started again with exclusive Turkish server and Turkish language support. We conducted numerous activities for the game between February – June 2024, including pre-planning processes.

The Rakion adventure started with a long and detailed planning process for us. As the Gaming in Turkey team, we prepared a comprehensive and multi-faceted strategy for the first month of the game’s pre-registration and post-launch period within the scope of our agreement. We built our strategy on the excitement of the news that the fans would finally be reunited with the game, which they remembered with longing. Our first goal was to realize activities where we felt the excitement of the return of a nostalgic memory together with the players. In addition, our main focus was to make new players as much a part of this adventure as old players.

Thus, within the scope of our 360-degree marketing services, we worked on many different areas such as social media management, digital marketing, Instagram viral marketing, PR, influencer marketing, Twitch ads with HOST, permanent forum thread project, video production for Rakion.

The Legend of Rakion Video Production

For Rakion, which arouses excitement with its theme and story, we prepared a promotional film suitable for the atmosphere of the game. In this way, we first processed the details of the game story coming from our brand and turned it into a scenario. In accordance with the scenario and briefs from our brand, we created special artwork for the video. Our video, which we meticulously carried out every stage from drawings, animation, voiceover to editing, was prepared in two languages, Turkish and English. After the editing processes, we shared our completed video on Rakion’s social media accounts and YouTube channel. You can watch our two-part “Rakion Legend” videos below.

Rakion Social Media Management and Marketing

With the return of the popular game to Türkiye, we needed to increase its presence on social media. In line with this strategy, we created Instagram, Facebook and YouTube pages for Rakion. To be shared on these pages, we produced content under many different categories such as game promotions, announcements, tips from the game, promotional videos, marketing content for registering and downloading the game, event news, class introductions, interaction content, giveaways, announcements of maintenance and update operations. We carefully prepared our designs for our content by creating a special visual world for the game.

We produced and shared a total of 50 Facebook and Instagram content during the pre-registration and launch periods. We also shared our “Legend of Rakion” videos on YouTube. You can take a look at some of the social media content we prepared for Rakion below.

Rakion Influencer Marketing Project

Within the scope of our influencer marketing campaigns, we came together with the popular names of the gaming world for Rakion. We held Kick and Twitch live streams in our efforts where we brought together the names suitable for our target audience and also the game itself. Levo, jemsnow, Lilyagmus, Lilyagmus, Damlaecre, Warlicia, Marlen, Güneş, Relleria, Oscorptv, Chips, Elayja, Zegabon, Betryna, Nadinq and Fanius featured the game in their live broadcasts and both had a pleasant time and introduced the game to their viewers.

In our live streams we reached total of;

  • 15+ hours of live streams
  • 5000+ average audience
  • 14k+ unique viewers
  • 21k+ live viewers.

We also produced YouTube content for the game with our influencers. Levo, Zegabon, Elayja, Warlicia, Valiant, AdroLoL and Fanius helped us reach our target audience with their Rakion videos for YouTube. You can check out the video content we produced for the game below.

Rakion PR Campaign

We conducted a total of 2 PR campaigns for Rakion, one each during the pre-registration and launch periods. In our pre-registration PR campaign, we talked about the history and features of the game. In addition, we announced special surprises and gifts for pre-registration and directed our target audience to register and download the game. In our launch PR campaign, we mentioned that the game is now available and great events for the opening are waiting for the players. We directed players to join the game with the links we added.

The PR bulletins we served were featured on Türkiye’s leading websites. The press releases we prepared and served for Rakion were published on 145 of Türkiye’s leading gaming and technology websites with a total traffic of 103M+, including Donanım Haber, Technopat, Webtekno, ShiftDelete, Türk MMO, PC Hocası, Bölüm Sonu Canavarı, Atarita, HWP, Frpnet and Turuncu Levye.

Rakion Instagram Viral Campaign

For Rakion, we created a fun and attention-grabbing video with in-game footage. We carried out a campaign to share our video, along with the story image we prepared, on pages that produce and share viral content that are well-known on Instagram. Our content was shared with a text and links to direct players to download the game. Our viral content was shared on 33 pages with a total traffic of over 7.6M+. We achieved a total of 1M reach and 1M+ impressions with our posts.

Rakion Digital Marketing Campaign

Realizing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for our brand was very important. Therefore, we carried out a meticulous work to distribute the budget efficiently to the necessary categories. In addition to Google and Youtube ads with the banners we created, we also took part in Meta and Instagram ads. We carried out our campaigns with maximum optimization to reach our target audience.

Between May 9 and June 9, in our digital marketing campaigns we achieved a total of;

Rakion x HOST Advertising Campaign

Considering the target audience and platforms of the game, we carried out advertising activities with the new generation live streaming advertising platform Hub of Streaming (HOST). The first of the two campaigns ran between April 16 and May 6 with content that included the dates of the pre-registration period and the announcement of special gifts for this period. In our campaign we  reached a total of;

Our second campaign, in which we invited players to the game with the opening of the game and announced special events, took place between May 17 and June 9. In our campaign we  reached a total of;
